There is no sincerer love than the love of food

I am a food lover even though my friends don't believe me because I don't weigh much. I believe that anything that looks delicious should also taste great and it should be true vice-versa. Great food is defined by how it pleasures our taste buds. It has to make you feel like you are on cloud 9 even if you just have a small bite . The smell of great food leaves our taste buds tantalizing and leaves us begging for more.

Personally, the only type of food that leaves me craving for more is our Indian Street Food. The delicious and very affordable street food of India is one of the reasons which makes India special . The street food captivates everyone , it also tempts people who try to avoid junk food but at last they end up eating the same. The smell of this kind of food mesmerizes the people who are around it. To be honest, my mouth is already salivating, here sitting at home, just talking about it and to be certain, all of yours too.

There is a variety of street foods all over India. At every shop, there is something different in the taste of all the items. Most delhites go to their favorite Gol gappa shops, Tikki shops etc. I live in the East part of Delhi and so I want to share a place with you where I go often. I have grown up eating from Shiv Tikki Wala. It is located in the community centre of Karkardooma which is next to Karkardooma Metro Station.

So, a saying goes "You can't be sad when you are holding a cupcake" . I would say YOU CAN'T BE SAD WHEN YOU ARE HOLDING A GOL GAPPA . Gol gappa the most favorite and the most delicious street food is what gets our mouths salivating, this ordinary yet irresistible food is what I bet you can get anywhere in India but its called by different names - "Puchka , Pani Puri ". There are basically two kinds of gol gappa's you can get- Suji and Atta. I prefer the Suji one as it is smaller in size. Basically, the gol gappa walla makes a hole in the gol gappa with his thumb, fills in a potato/channa misture and some sweet chutney and then dips in the Pani.

Yummy Gol Gappa's

Down below is an image of half of a Desi Burger. I know it might look not so yummy but the paneer and the veggies and the chutney is worth a shot. Also, they give a plate of salad. What more can you ask for in 40 bucks.

Pav Bhaji is a Maharashtrian Dish. It has lots of butter, pureed tomatoes, mashed potatoes, spices which is served with crispy buttered bread. Yes, it has a lot of Fat but it tastes just as good. It costs from 25/- to 120/- rupees across India.

Dahi Bhalla consists a mixture of spices where deep fried balls of urad dal is soaked and served in yoghurt. It is a very healthy dish. You can have it like a dessert or a snack. It is very light and soft. Also, great for digestion.
